Lee Remick (The Omen) stars as an investigative reporter whose assignment is to infiltrate the secret world of prostitution and expose its seamy underbelly. Her investigation leads her to a friendship with a hard-nosed hooker, played by Jill Clayburgh (Semi-Tough), who has been a victim of abuse. The reporter uncovers evidence that some of the city's richest and most-powerful families benefit directly and indirectly from the prostitution, causing a storm of controversy for those exposed for their involvement.
